Whilst those of us are enjoying the festivities and looking forward to spending time with our loved ones, Wider Plan has also been helping those less fortunate.
Our registered Charity Foundation, Wider Community, has been busy organising activities for us to fundraise.
Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, Friday 13th December
Every pound we raised will give children around the world the chance to grow up healthy and happy, so they can become who they want to be. In addition to the jumpers Wider Plan employees took part in a breakfast buffet, helping to raise more money and giving employees that “feel good factor”.
Our wonderful staff supplied breakfast goodies including breads, pancakes, pastries and cereals, along with all the trimmings. Some of our team even put on their chefs hats to cook fresh sausage sandwiches and vegan sausage rolls.
Wider Community also pledged to match donations made on the day, resulting in a fantastic £207 raised for Save the Children.
